Term 1 is coming to an end and we are all excited for the school holidays to start. There is still one week to go and a few things to finish off. The intermediate phase learners have one more test left, but they should not lose motivation. Thank you to the parents for helping their children get through homework and studying. The support they get at home is also important for their education. So let’s stick it out for the last few days and look forward to a well-deserved holiday. [read more]

Newsletter #8 – 08 March 2019 – Seniors

In assembly this week two of our Grade 10 learners had a wonderful message to share: As quoted by Garrit Ievers in assembly this week.

“You need to accept yourself before you can accept others. How can you love someone else before you even love yourself? We all need to try to accept and love ourselves first. We need to push ourselves, I mean look how far we have all come. We need to accept others and not treat them different from us, nobody can change who we are today. We have all succeeded to be where we are now, people that don't accept others are just jealous of who you are and what you are doing. If we don't accept ourselves then we won't go anywhere in life. When people start to love themselves or to learn how to, you will see a difference in their life. [read more]

Newsletter #7 – 01 March 2019 – Seniors

People might wonder what there is to say about water? Within simplicity there is complexity and it just takes a different perspective to appreciate the nuance, we as humans can learn so much from water. In our lives we should all be like water. Let me repeat it. Be like water. [read more]

Newsletter #6 – 22 February 2019 – Juniors

Friday night was party night! What pretty girls in lovely dresses and handsome young men in bowties came to the Valentine’s Dance. All the learners, big and small really enjoyed the evening and had loads of fun. The Grade 6’s had the opportunity of handing out the posies; that were made in class on Thursday; to the Panorama Oncology Unit.  They were overwhelmed by the response and gratitude from  the people who received them.  Well done to all the classes [read more]
