Congratulations:

A big congratulations to Ruby o’ Connor, Madeenah Choonara and Miraya Ramkissoon. Ruby was
placed 2nd in Grade 8 and Madeenah and Miraya tied 2nd in Grade 9. They will each receive a
medal and a cash prize of R350. They will also receive a 50% discount to purchase courses in 2023
at the Virtual School of Africa. They should feel extremely proud of their achievement given that
over 6 500 learners entered the Olympiad.
Exams:

Please do not make any appointments during the exams. We cannot move or change any time slots
for the exams. Also, ALL learners are expected to be at school EVERY DAY. Learners may not
take time off from school as a “study day” or think that they may just stay home. Learners will be
marked absent which may influence progression when we submit the portfolios to the education
department on the 9th of December.
