Junior Newsletter

Dear Parents,
We have reached the end of the first term of 2023. Wow! What an amazing start to the year. All the
learners really took on the theme for the term and I truly believe they have risen to the occasion. It
was wonderful to see each and every one of them trying to better themselves and their work ethic.
We hope that the learners will have a restful holiday and reflect on the past term. Be safe when
travelling and we look forward to seeing all the bright faces in Term 2!

2’s for always trying to put a smile on my face and being little teachers themselves. Every one of them
is so very special and I look forward to the next term for all of us to grow together! Have a wonderful,
well-deserved holiday!

Dear Parents, 29 March 2023
Why do we celebrate Easter with eggs?
Eggs represent new life and rebirth, and it’s
thought that this ancient custom became a part of
Easter celebrations. In the medieval period, eating
eggs was forbidden during Lent (the 40 days
before Easter) so on Easter Sunday, tucking into
an egg was a real treat! We wish all our Christian
families a blessed Easter. Mrs. Ellis
